About EL PUEBLO
We have made a decision. Not out of a whim. But because there is no more time to wait. We are founding our village. A place for self-determined living, collective responsibility, and clear decisions. Here, actions count more than empty words, and togetherness forms the foundation for a real future. It is about leaving theory behind and preparing the ground for tomorrow. Every house, every well, and every shared thought is a stone in this foundation. Accompany us on this path and get to know El Pueblo. For visuals, feel free to visit our Instagram or YouTube channel.
Our vision: A decentralized village that sustains itself
In the middle of nature, El Pueblo is emerging, a decentralized village. We are planning small family houses, surrounded by gardens, animals, a school, a sports and riding area. Our own water, our own energy, and shared economic activity are the cornerstones. This is not a concept. This is a next step that needs people who are ready to help shape it. Living diversity, thinking clearly
One thing is particularly important to us: we are not looking for people who want to dictate to others how to live. Instead, we seek people who can tolerate diversity. Some eat meat. Others do not. Some enjoy an after-work beer. Others consciously abstain. With us, that is not a problem. What counts is the ability to think clearly and to understand that not everyone is the same. And to support each other in exactly that, instead of controlling one another. This attitude is the core of our community.
Where should the village be established?
That is still written in the stars. However, we favor Asturias in northern Spain, a region with exceptionally good conditions for a sustainable community project. Asturias offers a lot of untouched nature, a comparatively low cloud density, and large available areas. Due to rural depopulation, affordable real estate, lands, and in some cases subsidy programs are available in many rural areas.
This creates the opportunity to revitalize old villages or to create a harmonious mix of existing structures and new sustainable buildings. The fertile soils and the mild Atlantic climate create ideal conditions for permaculture, self-sufficiency, and organic farming. Extreme heat periods are rare, while regular rainfall ensures good growing conditions and reliable water resources.
The region is also outstandingly suitable for a largely self-sufficient energy supply: water, sun, and wind offer great potential for renewable energies. The landscape is unique; mountains, forests, and the nearby sea create natural retreats, recreational spaces, and a high quality of life. Timber resources, ecological diversity, and protected natural areas further characterize the region.
Asturias is also known for its strong local culture, sense of community, and authentic way of life. At the same time, sustainable nature tourism brings additional opportunities for local development. Last but not least, the cost of living here is significantly lower than in many other parts of Europe. The region is also easily accessible from Germany by car and possesses a solid infrastructure.

A new way of living
El Pueblo stands for a way of living that combines the old and the new. Traditional structures meet contemporary architecture, organic, open, and in harmony with the surroundings. Interior spaces open up to the landscape. Large windows, natural materials, and flowing forms create places of peace, encounter, and retreat.
Nature dictates the form: buildings nestle into the terrain, forests, and existing structures. Every room, every detail arises from the dialogue between person, place, and material. Thus, it is not an ordinary village that emerges, but a living space where architecture, nature, and community come together to form a new way of living.
